Scan number cclaire630  2015-09-08 03:11

Dear Skyline Team,

I am using Skyline version (v3.1.0.7382). I am trying to see the scan number used for identification, in order to compare spectra in Xcalibur vs Skyline (the peptides I am looking for have a lot of modification and I need both to figure out what is going on).

I could not find this information on the pas request, could you please help me ?

Thanks in advance

Claire

Hi Claire,
Unfortunately, we have no such support at the moment, but I have added this as a consideration to the following issue in the issues list:

https://skyline.gs.washington.edu/labkey/issues/home/issues/details.view?issueId=432

We did have something like this for debugging when we were working on the Full-Scan graph originally, but I am not even sure the number we were showing would have been usable in Xcalibur, as we were mostly targeting the general spectrum viewing tool in our own ProteoWizard project called SeeMS. It will take us more work to make this an officially supported feature that allows users to get transferable scan number information for their instrument and tool of choice.

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry I don't have a simple solution for you.
